My 6 Continents bonus run was better than last years experience. The only odd thing I found was that AA can retro-actively change the frequent flyer number AFTER you've flown the sector.

I checked in at SFO after completing a flight the day before from JFK which had my BA number in it. The other AA sectors now had my BA number but I wanted AA. The agent asked me if I wanted the points for all the sectors - this I took to mean all future flights. In fact she meant all AA flight and so the JFK-SFO turned up in AA.

I sent AA an email and they removed the flight. I've sent it to BA for credit.
