Overall...The Westin Times Square.
The Element was new and clean...I did like the breakfast and "Happy Hour" food and drink...only one bedrooms, I believe.
The Helmsley is a bit dated...waiting for a much needed upgrade.
I will give the front desk staff kudos - they really did a nice job finding adjacent rooms for my family.
Probably remiss to mention a post of "Best NYC Hotels" without listing the St. Regis and The Chatwal, which are hands down the best SPG properties in NYC.
I'd also argue that the W New York - Downtown and the W New York - Union Square are above the Westin Times Square; frankly I prefer the W New York - Times Square above the Westin too.
