Well, the wine turned up las week, a whopping 5 months after the complaint was made.
One bottle of red with a drip collar and a very nice looking lufthansa branded corkscrew. This might be bad form but I couldn't resist a quick google to see what the wine ran for at retail. A whole £8. I reckon the P&P must have cost them more than that, but perhaps it took them 5 months to find a bottle that cheap
OK, a nice gesture given the relatively mild nature of the complaint, but perhaps they should have just sent the corkscrew!
