Flights to/from WAW and Poland-Germany/Austria flights that are operated on ATR42/72 (I think POZ-MUC and KRK-VIE), which are operated by K2, are sold as LO flights; therefore, they are Star Alliance flights (with status and award miles attached to them). Anything else operated by K2 is a pure K2 flight, which does not belong to Star Alliance (nor can it be booked under LO flight number). It's the same as with PS: KBP-VIE can be booked as OS flight and thus this flight will qualify for (only award) miles; however domestic PS flights do not.
