That's very possible. For example on Indian routes, airlines will allow 40 kgs allowance in Y flying into India, but only 20 kgs on the way back. I think in this case EY realize that with EK and QR both offering 30 kgs, they also need to do so.
if EY is matching EK + QR's 10 extra KGS, THEN will they each match EK's Gold members being allowed an extra 16 kgs over the ordinary 30KG, for their EY gold status members?
