According to a 6 month old Iberia timetable there are 2 flight pairs MAD-CAS-MAD IB3700/3701 and IB7970/7971. Although it doesn't make it clear it looks pretty much as though the 3700/3701 pair are supposed to be IB operated and the 7970/7971 AT. So even though it seems to be against the earning rules I actually think you've got a good chance of it going through and certainly arguing the point if it doesn't qualify.

The other thing is does your fare class qualify for points- I think only Business, Y class and R class earn AAdvantage miles on Iberia.
