I fly between BWI and TPE on itineraries mixed with CX / KA and AA a lot. Every time I check-in at BWI with AA, they can through check the bags to my CX or KA HKG-TPE FLT and usually issue the BP as well, even though that would be >24 hours before my HKG-TPE FLT's departure time (i. e., the same flight from the previous day has not yet departed).
