Wondering if any folks who regularly fly to China could give me advice on pros/cons of Delta (SEA, DTW) Vs. UAL (DWI, EWR), particularly via route. Presumably econ or econ+ products...
Much appreciated,

First of all, I would much rather connect in DTW than SEA. DTW is a wonderful airport and I like the longer time on the long-haul flight for sleeping.
DL Y+ is a special section of seats. The only service difference is free alcohol, not just wine and beer.
As a DL PLat, you can choose four SWUs, but they require M+ fares as well as availability. Your chances could be good for a nonstop USA-PEK depending on travel days.
I'd look at the aircraft. DL 777-LR is wonderful. DL A330 is also very good, with AVOD nose to tail. the 747 is good in BE, not so good in Y/Y+ (no AVOD, althoug it's being installed), while the 767-300 is horrid in BE but coach has the advantage of few middle sears, so some people like it despite no AVOD (overhead screens).
