Air Pacific are a good airline. Qantas own 46% of the airline and the customer service is VERY good!

The Fijian people are very gracious and relaxed, and the business class seat has the personal tv etc.

Once in Fiji, you may carry on to Australia in either the 747 again or a 767 300 or 737 .,

Air Pacific have brand new 737 700 and 737 800 and business class again has the tv located in the armrest and the plane is spotless.

All QF flights from Australia to Fiji and from Fiji to LAX are operated by Air Pacific, so the standard of service is maintained to the high standards expected by QF passengers.
