I've booked myself in this hotel and would appreciate if the Starwood Lurker can help clarify the following. I've spoken to different persons at the hotel but seem to get conflicting answers...

1) I'm paying 1,600 Starpoints + USD 30 cash. Is this USD 30 subject to 10% service + 6% government tax? Will I earn Starpoints on the USD 30?

2) Additionally, I need to pay for 1 extra rollaway bed in the room. According to the hotel website, this costs MYR 80, which IS subject to 10% service + 6% government tax. Will I earn Starpoints on the MYR 80?

3) Alternatively, the hotel is also offering a MYR 250 cash top-up for upgrade from 1) above to a suite, which again IS subject to 10% service + 6% government tax. Will I earn Starpoints on this MYR 250 top up?
