I don't think the knock on the revenue requirements -- as rumored -- is that they are too onerous. Instead, the knocks seem to be
- that it will be extremely confusing to the non-FT demographic that can barely keep track of the current, less complex rules
- that it drives a wedge between UA and other *A carriers (much more than requiring a few segments on UA metal)
What I see people unhappy about is the double-whammy of cutting status benefits even for the people who clear the revenue hurdle & are therefore presumptively non-"cockroaches."
