MY QUESTION is related to the "payment" part of that statement...delta.com says entertainment is free(Entertainment is complimentary in the BusinessElite® and First Class cabins, and for customers in the Economy cabin on all international flights. Additionally, Delta on Demand is complimentary in the Economy cabin on flights to/from the Hawaiian Islands and Alaska. ) in the coach section of international flights.

Which is correct?

If it is free, why would the have the "pay" icon listed on the itinerary on the website?

thanks for insights.
The bolded part is correct. Entertainment (except for HBO original content) will be complimentary in all cabins (HBO is also free in Business). It's probably just a web error, but the flight could be a continuation of a domestic flight where there is a charge for certain features.
