I recently stayed at this property and was very, very disappointed. It's an old property, the rooms are small, and you have to walk forever to get to the rooms and the CL. Despite this, in the past, it was a decent hotel, as the level of service made up for other things. The last couple times, however, and especially the last time, the service had dipped to being as poor as the surroundings.

There is renovation going on that pretty much disrupts everything. It's loud, messy and everywhere. The housekeepers appear to have pretty much given up on actually cleaning the rooms. My room had a mouthprint on the window and dirt on the floor.

The staff wasn't just unhelpful, they seemed to go out of their way to be intentionally lazy. The only one seeming to make an effort was the manager; unfortunately, that effort was an effort to be rude. And, bless his heart, he succeeded the best he could.

I'd avoid this property at all costs. Yeah, it's cheap, but think about why it's so cheap. If the cost drops far enough, they can trick anyone into staying there at least once. Obviously, they're no longer going for repeat business.

The Herndon Marriott Suites is a much, much, much better choice, not too far away. There are also two SHS nearby that are excellent hotels. For my money, the free breakfast at either of those beats the cramped CL at the Dullus FS.
