Not sure this is the place to post but at security MAN T1 yesterday 'iris' gate barriered off and security told me it is being removed due to new E-passport gates.

Another Frequent flyer benefit removed! and especially bad for me as I dont have new e-passport and just paid for 12 month visa, so i either pay for new passport or stand in the horrendous queues bah!!
