You will get the sleeper seat on any BA or QF flight where 3 classes of service are offered. For QF first class is only available on 747-400 planes which fly from Australia to: US (LAX & JFK, some via AKL), Argentina (EZE via AKL) and Europe (LHR, FRA, CDG via SIN or BKK, but not on FCO flights 747-300). There is the odd flight to HKG which is 747-400.

For AA at the moment it is only 777 flights. I think all flights to NRT and KIX are now 777. There are some 777 flights to LGW from DFW. The DFW - NRT and DFW - KIX flights are non-stop. There should be more 777 flights coming on-line as AA has been taking delivery of new planes progressively over the last 12 months. The 777 is mainly a replacement for the MD11, however, AA will be installing the sleeper seats on the 767 international fleet but I don't think this starts until next year and is targetted for Latin America. As for CX you probably have a 50/50 chance on a 3 class 747-400 (check to see if first class has 12 or 18 seats when you do the booking). The A340's are not being converted at present.

And the rest? Have not seen any plans so it looks like you are stuck with whatever they have.
