Dear Mr. CMK10:

Thank you for contacting us. I am very sorry for the upsetting
experience you encountered with the rude representative when you took
the photograph of the New York JFK airports, United Airlines First
Class/Premier check in desks.

Please understand United takes security measures very seriously and it
is important that our representative take precautionary measure to
secure the safety of all passengers.
Your feelings that our representatives didn't handle your situation in a
professional manner are understandable and I am truly sorry.

As a Premier member Mr. CMK10 your comments and business is important to
us. I will give a copy of your report to airport and security
management teams for their review.

If you would like further information regarding security measure within
the airport please contact www.tsa.gov.

In addition let me share our policy on taking photographs onboard the
aircraft please note United Airlines strives to make its customer
experience safe and comfortable and accordingly has issued the following

including any cellular or other devices that have this capability, is
permitted only for recording of personal events. However, photography,
audio, or video recording of other customers without their express prior

or video recording of airline personnel, aircraft equipment, or
procedures is always prohibited. Any voice, audio, video, or other
photography (motion or still), recording, or transmission while on any
