Were the snow globes tested to determine if any liquid explosives were present? If not, then their prohibition is a farce.

The TSA on one hand is saying these are inherently dangerous and can't be admitted into the sterile area, while on the other hand most likely no further testing is done and they are handled in the same manner as a snow globe you pick up at Disney World.
