Thank you very much for your reply. I booked the H10 this time and I will try the Melia next time I come to Madrid. The Marriot's in Madrid however seem to be all on the wrong side of the town for me - also they don't seem to participate in the Rewards program.

If someone wants to suggest anything else it will be still welcome - I'm back at Madrid all the time.
