My quick searches didn't yield anything so maybe this has been posted already, but...


I've been looking at flights from SFO to SJO. Matrix, Kayak and a bunch of sites show TACA flights for around $740 (They were $703 a few days ago).

The problem is, those fares don't appear to be bookable. Taca.com doesn't have them, Orbitz doesn't have them, nobody has them.

When I first ran into this I thought it was an inconsistency in inventory that was going to be resolved the next day. That was around 2 weeks ago. In that time, the fares have gone up, but there is still no inventory.

Is this normal for TACA?

Even Kayak contacted me to find out what the issue was, they said they were going to look into it.

Anybody have any more info?

(I've been lurking other forums for a long while but decided to post about this)
