I'm a newbie to the forum but have read many posts before and would really appreciate some advice. I'm currently a Platinum Medallion member and have redeemed flights to Europe previously and haven’t run into any issues.

However, this will be our first trip to Asia and I would like to book an award trip to Bangkok from Los Angeles. When I try using the search engine for the award, economy is 130,000 miles per person. It seems very high. Is this normal? I have 150,000 miles at this time. I know I won’t be able to do any business class flights but is there any way to book Delta partners for a reasonable amount of miles for economy class? Which airlines fly to Bangkok and how do you find those awards?

We were looking to travel either 11/11 or 11/12 to 11/27 this year. Any advice/help would be much appreciated!
