Is United now charging fuel surcharges on their flights?

I did a search, but couldn't find an answer.

So, has United begun adding fuel surcharges (YQ) to their fares like the European airlines do? Or is this a mistake?

Bought a ticket MUC-ORD-MLI-ORD-MUC from United, all segments UA flight numbers and all on UA or UX metal. I realize the cost of tickets has gone up outrageously, but looking at the fare details I notice a major part of the cost is YQ, at $326.20.

I had understood US carriers weren't adding fuel surcharges on their metal. Has this changed?

Please advise.
