It's only Thai's trans-Tasman flights where discount economy doesn't earn points: "Effective 11 January 2004, travel on Thai Airway's discount economy booking classes Q, V, W, S, L, T, G and K between New Zealand and Australia will not earn Airpoints. Other notes re NZ AirPoints:
- Minimum miles are now 1,000 per one-way 'journey' on NZ domestic (NOT 1,000 per sector)
- Upgrades are now 10K, 20K or 30K per one-way sector, depending on the length.
