+1 - It's chicken or egg. If US seriously wants to sell F, it will have to do two things: 1) spend on a soft product redo for F (both mainline + X); and 2) better differentiate the F product (stop giving the product away). US is better selling 2 seats in F on a 319 and having 10 go out empty than selling none and having F go out full (of freebies).
