Technically the rules for access to the dom J lounge, for dom J passengers are:
Next onward flight that day must be on a Qantas marketed and operated flight.
One guest permitted if also travelling on a Qantas marketed and operated flight.
(different rules apply for international F and J pax on connecting flights.)
However - given you are transferring to an all Y aircraft, can't see the harm in pointing that out (show both boarding passes).
