Bet they don't pay.

They will go back and say hey, sorry, we used some old ticket stock. We never used the wrong number when we were paying people, it was all a mistake. Somebody did not proof read it correctly.

It will cost them more than just paying the fine to have the legal people handle it, but they will want to save face.
