High season In NYC St. Regis and the Chatwal almost always more than 3 cents/ point ( taking into account all taxes and 5th night free). same goes to W hoboken
in Asia cash and points if available will yield more then 3.5 cents/point. i remember I redeemed cash and point award for 5.5 cents/point.
also Westin LAX and Sheraton LAX often available for more than 3 cents / point
