I feared as much... WT+/CW for both pax will work for us, but I cringe at the thought of all the wasted TPs this will cause (even WT+/WT+ would already trigger a membership year reset but with less overspill - while still being too much short of the threshold to reach it on the outbound if booking the paid CW for that).

In fact this makes me consider holding off booking until I can scrape together the miles, or booking WT+/WT+ now and hoping for MFU availability closer to the flights.

Isn't it funny how the BAEC tier system sometimes ends up geared toward dissuading people from booking flights with BA or into the more premium cabins?
