I don't know if any of you have noticed, but the milage cost of a business class ticket on UA has gone through the roof! I have been checking and it is actually cheaper to fly first-class using miles to redeem for a ticket. Does anyone know why it is now more expensive (using miles) to purchase a ticket for business class? I am stumped beyond the thought that the business class section has just had a massive over-haul to its design. Any other thoughts on why they would charge more than 250,000 miles for a round-trip ticket in business class??
