I need to fly HNL-LAX-SAN. My flight gets in to LAX at around 9pm. I already have a stopover at LAX, so I can't have a second one.

There is a legal connection to SAN the same night. Must I take that one, or can I take an early morning flight the next day? IF so, does it have to be the first flight in the am?
