Booked a suite upgrade with 6000 points. Yes and in this suite ALL items were complimentary. Also airport transport was complimentary, but I had to ask.

I just called down at GH DXB and they say everything is included. just found M and ms and gummy bears. i think i can make short work of them!
and I agree the Thai restaurant is very ordinary once one has eaten in Thailand ( Sydney also has many better thai restaurants )
