I was flying from IXB to CCU. Agreed, Bagdogra might be a sensitive airport due to its location, but the point I was trying to make is that if you EFFECTIVELY do a security check once, or maybe twice, you should not have to check the ticket printout & ID thrice, boarding pass 4 times, (security-stamped) cabin-baggage tag thrice, and frisking/hand-held wanding 3 times. And all of this happened to everybody on that flight, not just me. The cabin crew even advised us to preserve the boarding pass stub to be displayed while deplaning! And Keyser, I'm not exaggerating about any of this.
I don't think anyone can deny there is great redundancy and duplication of efforts at all Indian airports, albeit to varying extent.
