Don't let the people on here get you down. Of course you deserve compensation from the property due to THEIR screw up. They have a pool, they advertise a pool, people come to the property for the pool. If you check with the property and they confirm it will be available and then they decide to close the pool for a
private event, you are due compensation. That is not debatable.
