Woefully unrealistic for "a hostel, three meals and some good beer". I think $90-100 is more realistic and even then you'll be pretty tight. Even a dorm in a hostel in Sydney will cost $25-30/night. Things get cheaper outside of Sydney, but not that much cheaper.
