The train is actually surprisingly expensive, for two people it is almost a wash compared to the taxi.
The hotel is about one block from Circular Quay, but the station is not really set up for people with luggage.
I rate it as the worst airport line anywhere - expensive, deadly slow and filthy. It is a disgrace and I would now only consider travelling on it if I was alone, had no luggage and I thought the a taxi would be extremely slow because of congestion. How a city of Sydney's stature puts up with this is beyond me.
