Austrian Airlines Chief Executive Vagn Soerensen, heading a drive by four airlines to team up on a giant plane order to save costs, said the contract may be split between two manufacturers.


Last I heard of this story a few weeks ago, it was an all-or-nothing kind of order. Now it's o.k. to split the order up. Is this politics entering the picture?
