The LHR Flagship check-in area doesn't lead directly to the Flagship lounge at all - it's just a separate check-in area outside the main check-in area of T3. Flagship check-in is for AA First/Business pax and oneworld Emeralds travelling on AA.

Non-AA Emerald and Sapphire members get access to Admirals Club lounges (and Flagship lounges for non-AA Emerald members only) when flying AA domestically, regardless of class. Emeralds and Sapphires can also use priority check-in desks (often labelled as First Class for domestic flights).
