Does anyone remember fare history during the Lehman crash?

Should one expect fares for next week to drop if there is limited booking activity this week given the market implosion (and crude oil down significantly)?

Need to book a flight to Europe for a trip in late August.. probably will end up booking this weekend or even next week (won't be able to finalize plans till then).. curious if I should expect to see some fare softness...
