A very balanced assessment.

While there are undoubtedly teething problems in Mixed Fleet, I have no doubt they'll be solved in due course, probably months rather than weeks, but unlikely to be more than a year.

It's great to have specific points listed so clearly, as you did. Let's hope BA is recording such things as systematically; something tells me they are not, and this will lengthen the incidence of such issues unnecessarily. That is unacceptable.

Perhaps they should hire a tracksuit wearing management consultant to sort this issue out for them ?

What is quite clearly needed is a "back to school" course for those who have been flying a few months so these wrinkles can be ironed out. I don't think having legacy crews actually flying with Mixed Fleet would work on many levels, though of course it would be the ideal solution.

There's too much risk of the few militant bad apples "infecting" mixed fleet with their twisted perspectives, which is a great shame for the vast majority (and it is the vast majority) who would be more than happy to support their new colleagues to deliver the very best levels of service, and incorporating some of the hints and tips in service delivery which can be learned after years of experience (or trained using trainers who are au fait with such practices).

I'm looking forward to my first Mixed Fleet experience shortly; my expectations are modest.

If things aren't as they should be, I'm sure crew would rather hear constructive feedback there and then, or they'll never know the passengers' perspective.
