I understand the above, but apparently the AS ticket agents don't. I recently tried to cancel and rebook a ticket during the ticket tax fiasco and the agent told me that I would lose the companion cert. I was afraid to try doing it on-line because I was afraid of losing it unless I was dealing with a human. Does anyone know where this is written so I can direct another uninformed ticket agent to it in the future?
On a similar note, if I am Gold and the companion is non-status, does a change fee apply to the companion? If both the primary traveler and the companion are non-status, do two change fees apply or just one?
