See, with my cynicism about the media (generally, but more so when any mention of firearms is involved) I suspect had it been what we describe as the "registerable" parts here... what US law deems to be the "gun" for legal purposes... then the media would be all over calling it a GUN..
As they have not... well... you can imagine MY conclusion!
Thoughts of storms and teacups, mountains and molehills abound....
They found the following:
A bolt carrier and firing pin to an AK-47 rifle, an empty 30-round AK-47 magazine and four slides to Glock Model 22 .40-caliber handguns.
Odd thing is the 4 slides for a glock 22 IMHO
With out the upper/lower and trigger group there is no ak-47.
They found the keys, spark plugs and empty gas tank for an analogy to cars.
