I just want to add that the workers on the tea plantations are Tamil and are hindu. We saw some amazing religous ceramonies, ie someone spinning around with huge meat hooks in their back, their eyes wide open and white residue around their nose and lips. It was like they were on a merry-go-round, leaning forward and the only thing holding them up were the hooks in their back. It was wild and we were the only westerners there. It was just before the start of Holi ( spelling), the festival of color. Loved Tea Trails but it is like landing in the UK with wonderful gardens, high tea, and all of Sri Lanka laid out before you. Go! That Jetwing thing, could be one I saw as I was visiting all of Bawa's buildings and I think it was one of his. Service and rooms Ok but the look is wonderful. If in Sri Lanka look for all things Bawa designed.
