Hi all,
I had a surprising telling off from a member of cabin staff on a recent LHR - SIN flight.
I was connecting my British laptop to the A380 plugs using a standard UK - Euro plug adaptor. The flight attendant asked me to unplug it, and said that plug adaptors are not allowed for safety reasons!
I am a seasoned flyer and I have never heard anything like this before. Not least, the Singapore Airways website actually tells you you need to bring an adaptor!

Was the attendant being ridiculous or is this a new rule we have to live with?
Anyone else experienced it?
