Poor service in BE today 2160 LAX-JFK - Warning Rant

For the most part I'm a Delta apologist, but the FA assigned to the BE cabin today is just beyond lazy.

#1 - boarded EARLY & were using door 2 on the 757-200, so no kettles walking through BE to get in the way, yet no attempt at all for a PDB. Never asked, just stood there.

#2 - no menu's. Yes, it's possible that there were no menu's given to the crew to pass out, but no mention of a menu and no apology for the lack thereof.

#3 - linen's brought out, nuts + drink (3 cubs of ice in a glass and the can of coke for me to pour myself - huh?) finally served then all food brought out at once on the tray. Didn't even finish the nuts before the food was served but there were no courses.

#4 - the great disappearing trick. Took the trays and hasn't been back since. Though I probably could have used the button to call the attendant I had to go up front to ask for a drink refill. When I get up front, he's surfin the net on go-go with no regard for whats going on around him.

Most will say the upgrade today was most likely FREE so why am I complaining, and here' I'm going to argue. I paid for an M class fare as a DM/MM to pretty much insure that I would upgrade even though I could have gotten away with with a K class fare when I bought it - so I paid about $250 more than the lowest available fare. As a DM is there a chance I could have cleared on a lower fare, hmmm, maybe, not sure - but DL did get extra revenue from me as I figured that was good enough to get up-front. No complaints about the food itself and the better seat. I'm a bit mad now but if I would have paid full fare for this level, or lack there-of, of BE service I'd be pretty pissed off right about now.

Now your thoughts - is this worth an e-mail to DL or no? I'm not looking for miles or any compensation for the complaint, etc, but am I wrong to think the FA should have this brought to his attention that this lack of service shows poor on Delta?
