RG (Varig) also flies this route and so is UA I think. Have you checked F availability on UA or RG as well?

I have flown all these carriers so here is my rough guide:

SQ F > NH F [assumed old config.] > RG F > UA F > NH C > SQ C > TG F > UA C > RG C > TG C

If NH F is the new F which I doubt, then I will favor NH over SQ based on the newer equipment [e.g. bigger screen, enhanced food and definitely superior service]
