Due to a last minute schedule change my flight tomorrow from IAD to CDG gets in 55 minutes (6.20 am) before my connecting flight from CDG to VIE at 7.15 am. This is an award ticket booked using Delta Skymiles. Both Delta and Air France claim that this is a legal/valid connection and are not booking me onto the 10.00 am flight. The added complication is that the 10.00 flight is a code share operated by Austrian and the next AF flight is only at 12.35. What are the odds of being fast tracked through CDG? I am a DL GM. If I miss my flight, will AF book me on the Austrian operated code share or do I need to wait for the 12.35 flight?
