This has, fortunately, been brought up before; the conventional wisdom is to book one itinerary with your FFN, and the other without your FFN. Otherwise, as I understand it, AA does not allow you to double-book.

If you book the new itin without your FFN / AAdvantage information, when the other cancels, you can add the missing information easily enough.
