i dont know about fedex but most courier companies in india will not accept mobile phones. I went to at least 4 courier companies to try to send a mobile phone from DEL to BLR but no one would take it. It is due to some stupid Goverment rule!. I believe that corporate courier accounts might be exempt from this rule.
