Better clarify this. Some resorts refer to a house reef as one they take people to on a regularly scheduled boat. While this is usually a very short trip, it is not the same as being able to step off of the beach or out of your overwater bungalow and have fantastic snorkeling.

The FS KH for instance has a lot of sea grass off of their beach which isn't what most people are looking for in a snorkeling experience.
