PG: Thank you and have a good day + tipping.
PG goes in the Westin and have a good walk in the hotel for a minute then walk out. (I say the Westin cuz that's the only one I've been in Paris).
Then just come back later and pick it up.

I can't tell if this is tongue in cheek or not, but I think it is a good idea. Better yet: Stop by the check in desk with luggage, make a reservation for a few days from now. If the bellman is watching, he will notice that at least you interacted with the desk and did not just walk in. Then go to him and leave your luggage. The added bonus here is that if the check-in desk worker sees you doing this, they will be less prone to complain since you did just make a reservation. If they see you doing this without having been a guest -or- without making a reservation, they may be suspicious.
Does anyone know which of the Paris locations have the most bustling lobby so as not to raise too much attention?
Thanks.
