As usual, both parties are wrong.

EAS is wasteful and should be done away with. If we had a half decent train system people from smaller towns could get to cities with airports easily and for less money.

Regarding the union issue, the simple fix is to make voting compulsory. Then if you get a majority vote you also by definition get a majority of the affected employees, which is the distinction they are fighting over.
